"I have been in construction for 30 years and it's refreshing to see your approach so well explained." - Chris, Alternative Energy Southeast
Although the book includes many house plans, it is also beneficial with its in-depth coverage of passive solar home design and illustrations of sun-inspired home design concepts.  It also touches on green building, energy-efficient construction, and working with architects. The Sun-Inspired House evolved from the questions that have been asked of Debra about passive solar, passive cooling, energy efficiency, and green building by homeowners, builders, engineers, and architects over the last 25 years.
The Sun-Inspired House E-book can only be purchased directly from Sun Plans. (The older, smaller, printed version is sold out.) Delivery will be via an emailed link to a DropBox folder that is typically sent within one business day.
Sun Plans uses PayPal for secure payment processing. You may pay with a PayPal account, or any major credit card (no PayPal account required).
Payment will be handled on the secure PayPal website, then you'll be returned to the Sun Plans site.

"The Sun-Inspired House, a 247-page book by architect Debra Rucker Coleman, may be the best available introduction to passive solar design. Coleman's book is much more useful than three better-known books on the topic:..." - Energy Design Update, July 2008, by Martin Holladay, (now The Energy Nerd with Green Building Advisor.)
"Many, many thanks for the copy of your new book. It is a delight to read and jam-packed with excellent information....Having all the information in one place would have given us security in going through all the choices we made. I am ordering another to give to our builder. Congratulations on a wonderful book!" - David Young, Sun Plans Home Owner
"Her book is a good beginner's guide to understanding passive solar design concepts and energy-efficient building strategies. The finest compliment I can give this book is to say that it will be dog-eared by the end of your building project." - Home Power
